Verena Siblal Boodoosingh


Verena systematically ascended the difficult ladder to success in Trinidad and Tobago’s entertainment industry. The former TV Host and journalist has over 9 years experience in the media and public relations arena. Verena holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester, England and specialized in Public Relations. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and International Relations from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

Verena is also a freelance write and an author. She wrote for various local newspapers and Magazines, such as the Newsday Woman’s Magazine, The Guardian, and Caribbean Runway.

In July she launched her first book, a story book called “The Adventures of Ana and Her Magic Dogs – My country Trinidad and Tobago”.

As a chocolate lover, Verena claims she eats a Cocoa Republic chocolate bar a day. She laughs and stated that “… being a part of this organization will definitely benefit my appetite for chocolate”. Verena believes in living a holistic life and being aware of the impact of your action. Her holistic approach to the body, mind and soul has transformed her life. She’s  beyond ecstatic to be part of a team that shares this same belief and way of living. Verena feels proud and patriotic to be part of Cocoa Republic. She’s determined to use her academic background, experience and skill sets to show the world that Trinidad and Tobago can produce fine handcrafted chocolate.
