T R I N I D A D  &  T O B A G O

Brasso Seco is a remote region located in the northern range of Trinidad & Tobago and can only be described as a tropical paradise. This untouched region is one of the most bio-diverse areas of the Caribbean and is home to a large number of rare and exotic flora and fauna. Brasso Seco is also home to some of the most beautiful cocoa estates and is renowned for its preserved beauty and simplicity. Relax and recharge in this natural environment while discovering some of the hidden gems of the Caribbean.

Brasso is home to 8 waterfalls and 3 rivers, all of which exit into the Caribbean Sea on incredible beaches along the north coast. This stretch of coastline is really special due to there being no roads, therefore the purity of the nature is still very real and prominent. Many of these beaches are amazing camp sites, they are even home to many nesting turtles! One can often see large mothers coming to prepare their nests and lay eggs, if you’re lucky you may get the opportunity to enjoy a breath taking sight, as hundreds of hatchlings crawl out of the sand as they navigate to start their long and dangerous life at sea.

Estate Amenities

The ‘Cocoa Palace’ is an old drying house modified and restored into a comfortable two story house. The house can sleep 10 comfortably with one room downstairs and a dormitory setting upstairs underneath the Cocoa Sun Drying roof, (still on it’s original tracks) with various bunk and beds. Opening out onto a deck facing the Ocean and a Patio spanning out onto a well kept garden.

There are 2 toilets, 2 showers and a large out door kitchen for cooking and eating made with the traditional thatched roof and fire side. A recent addition is an artistically sculptured ‘Mud Oven’ hand made by a crafty pottery guru. It takes a little while to get going but it’s an amazing way to bake.

The garden and nearby hills are surrounded by incredible flowers and a wide variety of abundant fruit trees. One can wonder around just picking and eating fresh fruit without a worry in the world.

In the garden centre lawn there is a massive copper cauldron filled with fresh spring water, a truly wonderful place to sit and relax. The copper cauldron may hold up to 5 people. This wonderful addition to the gardens came across the Atlantic from a Scottish Foundry as much as 200 years ago. It really is quite a marvel to understand the journey this thing has been on. Now it sits on a mountain in remote Brasso Seco and makes the most unique Jacuzzi ever.
